Request deletion of your layrd data
layrd does not require or create a user account. You can still request deletion of data that may be associated with your use of the layrd photography editing app.
How to request deletion
- Email support.layrd@gmail.com with the subject “Layrd data deletion request.”
- State whether you want analytics, diagnostics, support, purchase-related data, or all identifiable layrd data deleted.
- If available, include the Diagnostic Device ID shown in layrd Settings. For a purchase-related request, include the store platform and non-sensitive order information needed to locate the record. Never send payment-card details or your store password.
- We will acknowledge the request, may ask for limited verification, and confirm when the applicable deletion is complete.
Data deleted when identifiable
- PostHog usage-analytics events and identifiers that can be linked to the information supplied;
- Sentry crash and performance records when the supplied information can identify particular records;
- support correspondence and contact information that is not required to document the request; and
- layrd-managed RevenueCat customer data where deletion is permitted.
Data kept or outside layrd’s control
- On-device data: photos, projects, templates, preferences, and exports stored only on your device are not held by layrd. Delete them in the app or device storage, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
- Anonymous or aggregated data: records that cannot reasonably be linked to your request may not be locatable and may remain in anonymous or aggregated form.
- Store records: Google Play, Apple, and their processors may retain transaction, refund, tax, fraud-prevention, and accounting records under their own policies and legal obligations.
- Required records: layrd may retain the minimum information necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, or proof that the request was completed.
Timing
We normally complete verified requests within 30 days. If applicable law permits more time or a request is unusually complex, we will explain the extension. Residual copies in provider backups or security logs may remain for up to 90 additional days before deletion or de-identification, unless a longer period is required for the limited reasons above.
Turning off usage analytics or crash reporting in layrd Settings stops the applicable future collection, but does not by itself delete data already received.
